Here is a Christmas card! I know it’s not Christmas yet, but it will be here before we know it! So here is a card created using the new Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty Designer Series Paper, Stitched Stocking Stamp Set, and new Stocking Punch. Take a look:

Another piece of Holly Berry Bouquet DSP was cut at 2 5/8” x 3 7/8”. The Embossing Buddy was used where I wanted my greeting. The greeting from Bright Hopes was stamped in Versamark ink in the lower right hand corner of the DSP and was then covered with Gold Embossing powder. The excess embossing powder was tapped off and the remaining embossing powder was heated with the heat tool. This DSP was adhered to a 2 ¾” x 4” piece of Early Espresso cardstock and was then adhered to the card front.

The card base is Cherry Cobbler cardstock cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”. The Simple Snowflake image was stamped all over the card front in Cherry Cobbler ink to create a subtle background. Next a piece of the glittery striped Holly Berry Bouquet DSP was cut at ¾” x 4” and was adhered to the bottom of the card front.
Next the card was opened and the Hobby Blade was used to cut a slit in the fold of the card just wide enough for the ribbon to go through. The slit was positioned just above where the striped DSP was adhered. A piece of Real Red Satin Ribbon was inserted through the slit, wrapped around the card front, and tied into a knot.
Another piece of Holly Berry Bouquet DSP was cut at 2 5/8” x 3 7/8”. The Embossing Buddy was used where I wanted my greeting. The image from Stitched Stockings was stamped on a scrap of Old Olive cardstock in Old Olive ink. The stocking was then punched out with the Stocking Punch. The cuff, heel, and toe of the stocking were punched from Real Red Glimmer Paper. The glimmer paper pieces were adhered to the stocking with the Two-Way Glue Pen. Then the Paper Piercer and Mat Pack were used to pierce a hole in the top of the stocking and a Gold Brad was added. The stocking was then adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
