Blissful Blue Butterfly

I am finally getting around to posting the Make and Take cards from a while back. The ones that I show you this week were from March. I know…March was like three months ago. I’m still quite a way behind on my blogging. This card was inspired by Debbie Currier's card that you can find HERE. Anyway…here is the first card from the March Make and Take:

Stamps: Bliss
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Ink: Crumb Cake, Marina Mist, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: 5/8” Old Olive Satin ribbon, Scallop Edge Border punch, Vanilla Smooch Spritz, Mini Glue Dots, Paper Snips

The card base is Daffodil Delight cardstock cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”. A piece of Whisper White cardstock was cut at 3 ¼” x 3 ¼”. The flourish image from Bliss was stamped in Crumb Cake ink in the center of the panel and then the entire panel was sprayed with Vanilla Smooch Spritz to add some shimmer to the cardstock. A piece of Crumb Cake cardstock was cut at 3 ½” x 5”. One of the short sides was punched with the Scallop Edge Border punch. The greeting was stamped in Early Espresso ink in the bottom right hand corner of the Crumb Cake cardstock.

The stamped Whisper White panel was adhered to the top portion of the Crumb Cake panel. A piece of 5/8” Old Olive Satin Ribbon was wrapped around the panel and tied into a knot. The ribbon ends were trimmed with Paper Snips. This panel was adhered to the card front.

The butterfly was stamped on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock in Marina Mist ink and was then cut out with Paper Snips. The wings of the butterfly were curled by rolling the cardstock around a pen and then the butterfly was adhered to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot.

That’s it! Come back tomorrow to see the next card from the March Make and Take.
