Christmas Cheer

Good morning readers! Lets step back in time today to take a look at all the cards from the October Make and Take. Here is the first one.

  • Cherry Cobbler card stock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
  • Mossy Meadow card stock 4" x 5"
  • Whisper White card stock 4" x 5-1/4"
  • Whisper White card stock 3-1/2" x 4-1/2"
  • Champagne Glimmer Paper 1/8" x 5-1/2"
  • Stamps: Cheerful Christmas
  • Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green
  • Markers: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green
  • Accessories: Filigree Frame embossing folder, Stampin' Dimensionals, Gold Satin Ribbon, Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details, Deco Labels Framelits, Ovals Framelits

Start off by folding the Cherry Cobbler card stock on the score line. Then run the card front through the Big Shot in the Filigree Frame embossing folder. Ink up the greeting stamp from Cheerful Christmas with Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green markers. Breathe on the stamp to re-moisten the ink and stamp the image onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock. Use the 5th from smallest Oval Framelit to cut out the greeting. Use the third from smallest Deco Labels Framelit on a scrap of Mossy Meadow card stock.

Glue the greeting panel onto the Mossy Meadow label and adhere this layer onto the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. Wrap a piece of Gold Satin ribbon around the card front and tie it into a knot. Then take Paper Snips and cut the ribbon ends into a dove-tail shape.

Now for the inside. Stamp the ornaments from Cheerful Christmas along the top of the Whisper White card stock alternating Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green ink. Then glue this panel inside the card with glue stick. Add the strip of Champagne Glimmer Paper at the top of the panel to add some sparkle.

Finally close the card and add Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details onto the berries in the greeting. Set the card aside for about 20 minutes so the Dazzling Details can dry and you're done!
