Neutral Snowflakes Gift Set

Here is the seventh project for the 12 Days of Christmas Swap. First is the card:

Stamps: Serene Snowflakes, Tags Till Christmas
Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
DSP: Crumb Cake (Neutral DSP Pack), Real Red Glimmer Paper
Ink: Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Scallop Edge punch, Snowflake punch, Decorative Label punch, Paper Piercer, Mat Pack, Gold brad, 5/8" Chocoalte Chip grosgrain ribbon, Gold Elastic Cord (retired), Stampin' Dimensionals

The card base is Crumb Cake card stock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4". The snowflake images from Serene Snowflakes were stamped all over the card front in Early Espresso ink to create a background pattern. A piece of Early Espresso card stock was cut at 2-1/2" x 4-1/4. One edge was punched with the Scallop Edge Border punch. Then a piece of Crumb Cake DSP was cut at 1-7/8" x 4-1/4" and was adhered onto the Early Espresso card stock. The Snowflake punch was used to punch one snowflake from Real Red Glimmer paper and one snowflake from Cherry Cobbler card stock.

The two snowflakes were stacked together on top of the Early Espresso/DSP panel and the Paper Piercer and Mat Pack were used to pierce a hole in the center of the snowflakes where a Gold brad was added. A piece of 5/8" Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon was adhered to the front of the panel with a small portion wrapped around and adhered to the back. This panel was adhered to the card front. The ribbon ends were cut into a dove-tail shape with Paper Snips.

The label from Tags Till Christmas was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink onto a scrap piece of Very Vanilla card stock. The label was punched out with the Decorative Label punch. Then the Paper Piercer and Mat Pack were used to pierce two holes at the top of the label where Gold Elastic Cord (retired) was run through the holes and tied into a bow. The label was adhered to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Now for the treat box:

Stamps: Tags Till Christmas
Card Stock: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
DSP: Crumb Cake (Neutral DSP Pack)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: 5/8" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain ribbon, Gold Elastic Cord (retired), Paper Piercer, Mat Pack, Paper Snips, Sticky Strip, Top Note die, Curly Label punch.

A piece of Early Espresso card stock and a piece of Crumb Cake DSP were cut at 4" x 5" and were run through the Big Shot on the Top Note die. The DSP top note was trimmed on the stich lines all the way around with Paper Snips. The DSP top note was adhered onto the Early Espresso top note. The top note was placed onto the Simply Score with the points on the long side lined up with one of the grooves. I scored 3/8" to the right of the points and 3/8" to the left of the points. Fold on the score lines really well.

For the box a piece of Crumb Cake card stock was cut at 3" x 4-1/2". This was scored at 3/4" on all four sides. With the 3" side facing you use Paper Snips to cut the card stock along the two score lines from the bottom edge up to the score line. Then cut the card stock along the two score lines from the top edge down just to the score line.  Fold on all score lines and add Sticky Strip to the outside corner flaps that you created. Adhere the small flaps inside the large flaps to form the box. Place Sticky Strip on the bottom of the box, remove the liner, and adhere the box inside the folded top note.

Cut a length of 5/8" Chocoalte Chip Grosgrain ribbon, wrap it around the box and tie it into a bow. The greeting from Tags Till Christmas was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock. This was punched out with the Curly Label punch. Then the Paper Piercer and Mat Pack were used to pierce a hole in the top left corner of the label. The label was tied to the middle of the bow with Gold Elastic Cord (retired).
That's it! A really quick and simple gift set ready to go for gift giving. I just placed some Hershey's Nuggets inside this box, but it would also make a great gift box for a piece of jewelry or any other small gift!

Thanks for stopping by!
