Birthday Owls - February Make and Take 4

Are you ready for some more owl fun with the Owl Punch? I hope so, because the card I have to share with you today has two of them! But these aren’t your average owl punch owls. These were stamped first with the fabulous Sale-A-Bration set Punch Bunch that you can get for FREE when you order $50 of wonderful Stampin’ Up product.

To get your very own owl stamp click the shop Stampin’ Up button on the top of the right sidebar, find $50 worth of toys that you want, and then enter in 121847 for wood mount or 123211 for clear mount. Anyway here is the card:

Stamps: Punch Bunch
Cardstock: Not Quite Navy, More Mustard, Scraps of Old Olive, Whisper White, More Mustard
DSP: Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper
Ink: Not Quite Navy, Soft Suede, Basic Grey
Accessories: Scallop Edge Border Punch, Two-Step Owl Punch, Scalloped Square Punch, Two-Step Bird Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Two-Way Glue Pen.

The card base is Not Quite Navy cardstock cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”. A piece of Elegant Soiree DSP was cut at 3 ½” x 4” and was adhered to the top portion of the card. Next a piece of More Mustard cardstock was cut at 2 ½” x 4” and one long side was punched with the Scallop Edge Border punch. Another piece of DSP was cut at 2” x 4” and adhered on top of the scalloped More Mustard cardstock. This panel was then adhered to the card front.

On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock one owl was stamped in Soft Suede ink and another owl was stamped in Basic Grey ink. Both were punched out with the Two-Step Owl punch. Also two hearts were punched from scraps of More Mustard cardstock with the Two-Step Owl punch. The leaves were punched from scraps of Old Olive cardstock with the Two-Step Bird Punch.

The leaves were adhered to the card front with the Two-Way Glue pen in the locations that you want the owls to be. The hearts were adhered to the owls with the Two-Way Glue pen. Then the owls were adhered to the card front.

The greeting from Punch Bunch was stamped in Not Quite Navy ink on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and punched out with the Scalloped Square punch. This was adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Come back tomorrow to see the adorably cute 3D item from the February Make and Take. I just know you’ll love it! Have fun stamping!
