So Sweet

Good morning everyone! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Today I'm going to share with you the third card from the April Make and Take. This one features the Sweet Cake stamp set from the Occasions Mini that is sadly retired now. Take a look:

  • Stamps: Sweet Cake
  • Card Stock: Whisper White, Concord Crush, Wisteria Wonder
  • DSP: Sweet Shoppe
  • Ink: Concord Crush, Wisteria Wonder
  • Accessories: Paper Snips, Ticket Corner Punch, Silver Glimmer Paper, Stampin' Dimensionals, Dazzling Details, Small Heart Punch

To start off on this sweet little card I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored it at 4-1/4". Then I cut a piece of the Sweet Shoppe DSP 3" x 5-1/2" and adhered it onto a 3-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Concord Crush card stock. This layer was then adhered onto the card front.

Next I stamped the cupcake image from Sweet Cake in Concord Crush ink onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock and cut out the image with Paper Snips. Then I stamped the greeting in Wisteria Wonder ink. I cut a piece of Wisteria Wonder card stock 3" x 3-3/4" and punched the corners with the Ticket Corner Punch before adhering the cupcake image onto it.

This panel was adhered onto the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I also used the Small Heart Punch on a scrap of Silver Glimmer Paper and adhered the punched heart over the heart in the stamped image with half of a Stampin' Dimensional.

Some Dazzling Details were added to the frosting of the cupcake to give it some sparkle and this sweet card is finished!

Such a fun birthday card to give someone, or maybe just for a special friend? This card was inspired by a card created by Lisa K. which you can find HERE.

Thanks for stopping by!
