Pine Forest

Here is the next card from the May Make and Take. I created a small forest on the front of the card. Take a look:

Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Woodgrain
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, Bravo Burgundy, Very Vanila
Ink: Early Espresso, Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Basic Black
Accessories: Tasteful Trim Die, Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder, Needle Tool, Mat Pack, Gold Brads, Stampin’ Dimensionals

The card base is Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 4 ¼” x 11” and scored at 5 ½”. The front of the card was stamped with the Woodgrain background stamp in Chocolate Chip ink. Next a piece of More Mustard cardstock was cut at 2” x 5 ½” and was run through the big shot in the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder. A piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock was cut 1” x 5 ½” and was run through the Big Shot on the Tasteful Trim Die to get the large scallops cut.

Both the Chocolate Chip scallops and the More Mustard cardstock were adhered to the card front. The Needle Tool and Mat Pack were used to pierce three holes in the upper right hand corner of the More Mustard panel and through the card front. Three Gold Brad were added in the holes.

A piece of Very Vanilla cardstock was cut at 2 ¼” x 3 ¼”. The pine tree from Lovely as a Tree was stamped three times in Always Artichoke ink, and then four times in Old Olive ink. For the Old Olive trees I stamped the image twice before inking up the stamp again. The second stamping gives a lighter tree in the background in the same color.

The greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes was stamped in Basic Black ink in the upper right hand corner of the Very Vanilla forest panel. The forest panel was adhered to a 2 ½” x 3 ½” piece of Bravo Burgundy cardstock. This layer was adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
