Here is the fourth card from the August Make and Take. This one is really super simple and really cute.
Add a large Rhinestone Basic Jewel onto the heart to add a little bit of sparkle. Now take the piece of Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon and wrap it around the card front then tie it into a bow.
- Strawberry Slush card stock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
- Whisper White card stock (2) at 4" x 5-1/4"
- Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon 20"
- Stamps: Work of Art, Everything Eleanor
- Ink: Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Stazon
- Accessories: Rhinestone Basic Jewels
Take one of the pieces of Whisper White card stock and stamp the brush image in Coastal Cabana ink. To get the faded brushstroke look ink up the stamp once then stamp the image four times without inking again. Then take the larger brush stroke image and stamp it in Daffodil Delight ink. Stamp the heart in the lower right hand corner in Strawberry Slush ink. Then stamp the greeting and the swirl from Everything Eleanor onto the card front in Stazon ink. Then glue this panel onto the card front with glue stick.
Add a large Rhinestone Basic Jewel onto the heart to add a little bit of sparkle. Now take the piece of Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon and wrap it around the card front then tie it into a bow.
To dress up the inside take the other piece of Whisper White card stock and repeat the stamping that you did on the front, but keep the images to the lower right hand corner so you have space to actually write a message inside the card.
That's it! Super simple.
On a side note... do you know what happens when you don't pay attention to the fact that Photoshp Lightroom rotated your photo when you imported it and you add the watermark? You end up with photos that have watermarks in odd locations... and I was too lazy to redo it. So there you go!
