Good morning! I've got two cards for you today. They are even really similar. These cards were created for another sketch challenge. Take a peek:

For both of these cards the card base is Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 4 1/4" x 11" with a 5 1/2" score. Now for the tricky part. I started off with a piece of Very Vanilla and a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock cut at 4" x 5 1/4". I placed one of the pieces of cardstock onto the simply score and lightly scored from corner to corner to create a scored X on the cardstock. I repeated this with the other piece of cardstock. Then I took the cardstock to the paper trimmer and trimmed first from one corner diagonally across to the other corner. Then I took one of the triangle halves and put it back on the paper trimmer. This time I cut on the remaining score line. Repeat with the other half. Then I simply repeated the cutting with the other piece of cardstock. This gives me eight triangles, 4 in Very Vanilla and 4 in Cherry Cobbler.
Then I cut two different patterns of Holly Berry Bouquet DSP to 3 3/4" x 5". I repeated the scoring and cutting steps with the DSP to get eight patterned paper triangles. Now for some assembly. I adhered all of one pattern of DSP to the Very Vanilla triangles and all of the other pattern of DSP to the Cherry Cobbler triangles. Starting with the top and bottom triangles I adhered the triangles to the card front to form a rectangle. I just made sure to alternate the pattern of paper when applying the triangles.

Okay now that the hard part is done it's time to add some decoration by creating that middle panel. In case you haven't noticed, I've really been loving the Red and Silver Glimmer paper. It is so wonderful! It makes it really easy to add some sparkle to a card!
Now here is where the cards really differ. For the first one I stamped the stocking from Stitched Stockings in Pear Pizzaz ink on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and punched it out with the Stocking Punch. I also punched out the top, heel, and toe of the stocking from Silver Glimmer paper and adhered the pieces to the stocking using a Two-Way Glue Pen. The stocking was adhered to the Very Vanilla panel.
A snowflake was punched from Red Glimmer Paper using the Snowflake Punch. Then a Needle Tool and Mat Pack were used to pierce a hole through the center of the snowflake and the Very Vanilla panel and a red Glimmer Brad was added. The Very Vanilla panel was adhered to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
For the second card I used a simpler decoration. I stamped the image from Warmest of Wishes in Cherry Cobbler ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock and punched it out with the Decorative Label punch. I also punched a decorative label from Red Glimmer Paper. The glimmer paper label was cut in half length-wise, the points in the short sides trimmed off, and adhered behind the stamped label to create a very sparkly mat. For this I used Tombow Mutli-Purpose adhesive. The label was adhered to Very Vanilla panel with Stampin' Dimensionals and the panel was adhered to the card front with more Stampin' Dimensionals.
