Good morning everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! I just want to share with you the second card from the July Make and Take! Take a look:
Stamps: En Francais, Just Believe
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder
Ink: Elegant Eggplant, Versamark
Accessories: Gold Embossing Powder, Beautiful Wings Sizzlit, Basic Pearls Jewel Accents, Mini Glue Dots, Embossing Buddy, Heat Tool.
The card base is Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4". Next a piece of Wisteria Wonder cardstock was cut at 2 3/4" x 5 1/2". This cardstock was stamped with En Francais in Elegant Eggplant ink. Then the Embossing Buddy was rubbed over the Wisteria Wonder cardstock where I wanted my greeting to go. Then the greeting from Just Believe was stamped in Versamark on the bottom of the Wisteria Wonder panel, was covered wth gold embossing powder, the excess tapped off, and heated with the Heat Tool.
The Wisteria Wonder cardstock was then adhered to a 2 7/8" x 5 1/2" piece of Elegant Eggplant, then this layer was adhered to a 3 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Next this layer was adhered to the card front. Now all that is left is the butterflies. A scrap of Very Vanilla and a scrap of Elegant Eggplant were run through the Big Shot in the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die. The large Very Vanilla butterfly was adhered to the center of the stamped Wisteria Wonder panel with Mini Glue Dots. Then four Basic Pearls Jewel Accents were added to create the body of the butterfly. Then two Elegant Eggplant butterflies were adhered just above and below the Very Vanilla butterfly using Mini Glue Dots.
This card is really fast to put together and really didn't use a large amount of tools or papers. I just love how it turned out. Well I'm off...laundry needs switched.
