Won't Quit Chocolate - February Make and Take 5

Today I have to share with you the 3D item that we made at the February Make and Take. Yes, I did say February. This year seems to be going by so very fast! I just need a break to be able to pot and get you updated on all the craftyness that I've created! Anyway here goes... I got the idea for this adorable little treat holder from someone's blog that I follow, but I don't remember where it is! I will post the link as soon as I find it. If you are the original creator of this cutie please let me know and I will give credit where it is due.

Stamps: Eat Chocolate, Sweet Swirls wheel
Cardstock: Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzaz
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: Decorative Label Punch, Itty Bitty Bits Punch (flower), Basic Pearls Jewel Accents, Sticky Strip, Hershey's Nuggets, Glue Dots

This adorable little chocolate holder is so quick to make! Start off with a strip of Whisper White cardstock cut at 1 3/4" x 5 1/2". Score the cardstock 2 1/4" from each end and fold on the score lines. The front of the scored cardstock was stamped with the Sweet Swirls wheel in Tempting Turquoise ink. A piece of sticky strip was added to one end of the cardstock. Use a Glue Dot to adhere one piece of chocolate in the center of the cardstock. Use another glue dot to adhere the second piece of chocolate on top of the second. Remove the liner from the sticky strip and adhere each end of the whisper white cardstock together over the chocolate.

The greeting was stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and punched out with the Decorative Label punch. Use the Decorative Label punch on a scrap of Pear Pizzaz cardstock. Cut the label in half width-wise and trim off the points that were in center of the side of the label. Adhere each label half behind the greeting label. Adhere the greeting label to the top of the chocolate holder. Next a small flower was punched from a scrap of Rich Razzleberry cardstock and adhered to the chocolate holder front. A pearl was added to the center of the flower to give it a little bit of sparkle.

These would be so super quick and easy to make for wedding favors or party favors. Well...hopefully I will have something else to share with you later today. If not today then definitely tomorrow morning! Have fun stamping!
