Hello everyone! I know it has been a while since I've posted anything. It's not that I haven't created anything...it's just that I haven't gotten it posted. I have lots and lots of wonderful things to show you. But first off I am going to post the card I created for the A La Card Monkey sketch which you can find HERE.
Stamps: Solid Stripes, Funky Four, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
DSP: Night of Navy DSP
Ink: Night of Navy, Old Olive
Accessories: Summer Sun Corduroy brad, Scallop Edge Border punch, Photo Corner punch, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, Markers: Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy
The card base is Night of Navy cardstock cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4". The Night of Navy DSP was from the level 1 hostess dsp stack from last year, but I think you can still get this pattern in the current color dsp stack. The dsp was cut at 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" and was adhered to the card front. Next a piece of Old Olive cardstock was cut at 1 1/8" x 4 1/4". I used the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig with the Solid Stripes stamp and Old Olive ink to add the stripes onto the cardstock. The striped Old Olive cardstock was adhered to a 1 1/4" x 4 1/4" piece of Night of Navy cardstock.
Next a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock was cut at 1 1/2" x 4 1/4" and one side was punched with the Scallop Edge Border punch. This was adhered behind the Old Olive and Night of Navy layer. Then the 1/16" Hole Punch was used to punch a hole where the Summer Sun Corduroy brad was placed. This was then adhered to the card front.
A piece of Whisper White cardstock was cut at 2 1/8" x 2 7/8". The image from Funky Four was inked by coloring the stamp image with Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, and Old Olive markers. Then I breathed on the stamp to re-moisten the ink and stamped the image. The greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes was stamped in the upper right hand corner in Night of Navy ink. Then this panel was adhered to a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock cut at 2 1/4" x 3" and then adhered to the card front. A photo corner was punched from Old Olive cardstock and adhered over the corner of the image panel.
That's it! I hope to have several more cards posted to share with you soon. Have fun stamping!
