Sorry I didn't get these posted over the weekend. I spent time this weekend getting ready for the December Make & Take and we also pulled out all the Christmas decorations and put the tree up. So I will be posting days 3, 4, and 5 of the 12 days of Christmas swap today! Here is day 3:

Accessories: 5/8" Real Red satin ribbon, Gold embossing powder, Heat Tool
The card base is Very Vanilla card stock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4". The peppermint image from Jolly Bingo Bits was stamped in Real Red ink all over the top of the card front to create a background pattern. Next a piece of Holly Berry Bouquet DSP was cut at 2" x 5-1/2". This was adhered to a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock cut at 2-1/8" x 5-1/2". This panel was adhered to the card front.
The greeting from Sweet Season was stamped onto the card front in Versamark ink. Gold embossing powder was poured over the stamped image, the excess tapped off, then heated with the Heat Tool. Then just to dress it up a piece of 5/8" Real Red satin ribbon was wrapped around the card front and tied into a knot.

This cute little candy wrapper box, which I filled with Hershey Kisses, was created by first cutting a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock 5" x 6" and running it through the Big Shot on the Candy Wrapper die. Make sure that when you are working with dies that create score lines that you are building your sandwich like this: standard cutting pad, shim (I use a piece of cardboard that comes with the die), die blade-side up, card stock, Premium Crease Pad. Some machines may not require the shim to get a nice clean cut around the shape and score lines that don't cut through the card stock.
Four pieces of Holly Berry Bouquet DSP were cut at 1-1/4" x 2" and adhered to the large sections of the box. Use the Paper Piercer and Mat Pack to pierce a hole in the center of one of the sides of the box. This is where you will attach your snowflake. Fold on all of the score lines really well. Two snowflakes were punched with the Snowflake punch, one in Very Vanilla card stock and another in Cherry Cobbler card stock. The two snowflakes were stacked together and the Paper Piercer and Mat Pack were used to pierce a hole in the center of the snowflakes. A Gold brad was added in the center of the snowflakes and inserted into the hole in the side of the box.
Use Sticky Strip to adhere the sides of the box together and form your box. Dazzling Details was added to the Cherry Cobbler snowflake to give the box a little more sparkle, as if the sparkly DSP wasn't enough right? I love sparkle when it come to holiday gifts and decor!
