Here is the Christmas card from the September Make and Take! Beginning in July or August I always include one Christmas card in the Make and Take projects all the way through December. That way my guests have plenty of ideas for their Christmas cards! This one was inspired by Jen's lovely creation that you can find HERE.

There are a few steps to this card, but overall it wasn't that difficult. To make this start off with a piece of Smoky Slate card stock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4". Next use the largest Festive Flurry Framelit to cut the snowflake from the top of the card front. Cut a piece of Winter Frost DSP 4" x 5-1/4" and adhere it onto the inside of the card so you see the pattern through the snowflake. Not only is this a cool effect for the front, but you are decorating the inside too!
Next you will want to stamp the 2nd from smallest image from Festive Flurry onto a scrap of Midnight Muse card stock in Versamark ink. Cover the stamped image with Silver embossing powder, tap off the excess, and heat it with your Heat Tool. Now cut out your snowflake in the Big Shot with the 2nd from smallest Festive Flurry framelit. Adhere the snowflake onto the card front inside the big snowflake with a Stampin' Dimensional. Next thread some 1/8" Silver Ribbon through a Vintage Faceted Designer Button, tie the ribbon into a bow, and adhere the button into the center of the snowflake with a Glue Dot.
I wanted to do something a little different for the greeting then what Jen did. So I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock 1" x 4". Stamp the greeting from Greetings of the Season onto the strip in Midnight Muse ink and used Paper Snips to cut the right end of the card stock into a dove-tail shape. Next cut a piece of Midnight Muse card stock 1-1/4" x 4-1/4". Adhere the Whisper White banner onto the Midnight Muse card stock then use Paper Snips to cut a matching dove-tail shape onto the one end. Adhere this onto the card front with a couple Stampin' Dimensionals.
I didn't get a picture of it, but on the inside I just stamped a few snowflakes in Midnight Muse ink to make it a little prettier. I haven't decided for sure yet, but I just might have to do something like this for my Christmas cards this year. I just LOVE snowflakes!
